International Trade Fair for Producers of Furnishing Fabrics, Curtain Fabrics and Wallcoverings

Founded on the shared vision of a group of home textile industrialists, Proposte has now reached its 33rd edition.

Thanks to a path of steady, consistent growth focused on quality, the exhibition has established itself as the most authoritative and exclusive international showcase dedicated to the world premiere presentation of new collections of furnishing fabrics, curtain fabrics and wallcoverings.

Over the years, the fair has strengthened its position as a key reference event for the entire sector, welcoming at each edition an increasingly broad and highly qualified attendance of specialized professionals from more than 70 countries.

The 5-7 May 2026 edition hosted 87 exhibitors, including 37 Italian companies and 50 international exhibitors from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Finland, India, Morocco and the United States. For the first time in the history of the event, a company from Lithuania also participated, further confirming the fair’s growing appeal and global reach.

Exhibitors are carefully selected international manufacturing companies representing excellence in the sector. Their collections stand out for their high level of specialization, superior material quality, ongoing stylistic and technological research, and an increasingly strong commitment to sustainability, health protection and environmental responsibility.

The exhibition is reserved for a highly qualified and strictly professional audience, including textile editors, upholstered furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, major retail chains, converters, contract operators, architecture firms and interior design studios. Accredited journalists are also admitted, highlighting the fair’s central role within the international design and home furnishings landscape.

The 2027 edition will take place from 4 to 6 May in the historic and prestigious setting of Villa Erba, in Cernobbio on Lake Como — an iconic venue that contributes to making Proposte a unique event, combining manufacturing excellence, design culture and an extraordinary scenic backdrop.
